@forceofnaturemeats just came out with ground chicken so naturally I got my hands on it stat (no, this isn’t sponsored, I just love them).
And, I’ve been wanting to share my orange chicken recipe from Fusion, which everyone seems to really like! So this was the perfect opportunity to do both!
MEATBALLS:
2lbs @forceofnaturemeats Ground Chicken
1/4 cup collagen (@perfectsupplements - link in bio for a discount code)
1/4 - 1/3 cup flour (I used cassava)
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
**Add all ingredients to a bowl. Mix with your hands and form into meatballs. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
ORANGE CHICKEN SAUCE:
2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 tsp - 1.5 tbsp Orange zest (see note)
3 tbsp coconut aminos
6 cloves garlic, pressed
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated OR 1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 - 1 tsp pepper flakes (depending on how hot you like it)
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp arrowroot flour
Orange zest note: if you really want the strong orange punch, you’ll want to add closer to 1 - 1.5 tbsp of zest. If you like it on the milder size, stick closer to 1 tsp zest. I used ~4 tsp in this recipe.
**Add all ingredients to a bowl. Whisk together and heat on medium-low until bubbly. Whisk frequently to avoid sticking/burning.
BONE BROTH RICE:
1 cup rice, soaked for 24 hours in water w/ ACV
2 cups bone broth (I used @bonafideprovisions beef)
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
**Add all ingredients to a pot. Cook like you would any rice, but just be sure to stir so the melted butter spreads around.
This is one of my favorite easy dinners. Let me know if you make it! Enjoy 😋
