MY ACNE STORY: Part 3

After spending months/years on things that didn’t work for my skin (i.e. most face washes/skincare products, eliminating dairy, eliminating food groups (like carbs or grains), obsessing over individual foods and eliminating them, etc.), by the grace of God I have finally figured out the root of my acne and have experienced major, major healing in the last 3 months.

I hope this is helpful to everyone who is struggling, because I feel your pain and hope you can get relief asap!

One of the biggest pieces of advice I can offer when it comes to acne is to never stop being a student. Never just blindly follow recommendations from people on the internet (including me or anyone else!).

Do your own research, learn what works for you, and seriously, ORDER LAB TESTING if you want to truly see what’s happening internally. Testing and not guessing can be one of the most helpful things you can do. (The link is in my bio to learn more about Wild + Well-Fed Lab Offerings).

I will not lie in saying that acne can be one of the most complicated conditions, and the root causes can be vastly different for each person. One thing that’s for sure is that it will likely take some time, and there will be ups and downs along the way.

My skin is still not perfect and I still have a long ways to go, but I’ve come a long way and that’s why I’m so excited to share all that I’ve learned.

I plan to record a live/video to answer questions I didn’t get to in my 3 part acne series, so keep your eyes out for my stories where I’ll post a question box within the next few days.

Be sure to read my 3 acne posts thoroughly, and check out my acne highlight before asking questions! Your questions may have already been answered in there :)

**As always, this is NEVER medical advice. Always consult with your doctor**
