In November of 2019, I was certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I have learned to assess and support the underlying causes of my client's discomfort, dysfunction, and disease.
Although it is not within my scope of practice to diagnose, treat, or cure disease, I work with my clients on an individual basis to create a customized approach to address their imbalances. As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I take a food-first and lifestyle-first approach to overall wellness.
While western medicine typically just works suppress symptoms (the band-aid approach), Nutritional Therapists address the root issue of each of their client's concerns.
Working with me will introduce you how your health-related appointments should be. Instead of five quick minutes, a suggestion of a prescription, and a handshake, I will spend hours with you 1:1, stay in contact between sessions, and be available for questions.
Our relationship will start with an in-depth questionnaire and an initial interview, that includes questions like "have you ever restricted your calories for weight loss?" and "do you keep artificial air fresheners in your home?"
It's my job to ask the important questions, do the digging, and help you get to the source of your concerns so we can walk together on your journey to feeling your best and living your dreams.
